WATP is run by Sonja Giese, a German who is based in Brussels, Belgium since 2004. Having jobbed as freelance journalist, female paperboy, dog sitter, waitress, French teacher for children and onion cutter in sandwich bars, she is currently working in press and communications for the Left political group in the European Parliament. Before joining the Belgium pack of expats, she worked in a Social centre for young women, teaching analog b/w photography.
For the first road trip to Greece, she took on board the highly skilled Belgian freelance journalist Mareike Lambertz. Believing in the magic of creating synergies, WATP cooperates on an irregular basis with other beings.
